Ink refill kit for Canon PGI5BK Black cartridges

InkTec inkjet cartridge refill kits allow you to refill your existing empty ink cartridge. Why buy a new or remanufactured ink cartridge when you can refill the cartridge you have for much less money? Each kit includes the ink, tools and instructions to refill your empty inkjet cartridge and get printing again quickly. It is always a good idea to refill cartridges that have just ran out of ink. You also shouldnt try to keep printing on an empty cartridge as it will burn out of the printheads on your ink cartridge. All inkjet cartridge print quality will eventually fade but by keeping your cartridge full of ink and printing regularly you should be able to get a few cycles with one cartridge before buying a new or remanufactured ink cartridge.

I've been using InkTek PGI-5BK and the companion color refill ink for my Canon MP530 for over 3 years now. The quality of the ink is first rate, even for photo prints. After learning the method for filling the empty cartridges, it takes me only a few minutes to refill them. I don't even have to use the plastic gloves anymore, though at first they came in handy. The only trick is remembering to check the ink levels in the tanks periodically because there is no chip replacement for automatic ink level reporting.

I'VE BEEN USING THIS BRAND OF INK ON THIS PRINTER FOR A YEAR AND A HALF. THIS INK IS WONDERFUL AND EASY TO USE,ONCE U HAVE THE HOLES PUNCHED OUT IN THE ORIGINAL TANKS. THAT'S THE TRICKY STEP. IF U USE TANKS NOT ORIGINAL TO THIS PRINTER, THE WARNING LITES DON'T WORK. THE INK QUALITY IS PERFECT AND I GET 2 REFILS PER BOTTLE. THE ONLY THING I DON'T LIKE IS THAT NO MATTER HOW FAST I REFIL THE TANK, IT LEAKS FROM THE BOTTOM, EVEN WHEN SET INTO THE YELLOW HOLDER. ALSO PLACING A PIECE OF REGULAR TAPE OVER THE REFILL HOLE STOPS LEAKAGE AFTER PLUG IS INSERTED. SOMETIMES THEY JUST DON'T FIT TIGHTLY ENUF. OVERALL~~X L ENT! AND COSTS MUCH LESS.
