The Canon Pixma MX700 is somewhat of an ink guzzler. I cringed every time I had to purchase an original manufactured cartridge. I tried other ink companies, and even purchased cheap ink to refill which resulted in a mess and didn't print as well. Also by reusing the cartridge I had to do several maneuvers to trick my printer into thinking it had a new cartridge and then keep an eye on how much ink was in them. Ugh
This product is wonderful! My printer prints nicely and it recognizes the cartridge like the Canon product! I hope you continue this product for as long as I own my printer.

What can I say ...it's BLACK ink! When it prints, it prints out black, I mean really BLACK! Like it's the presence of ALL colours! I've ordered fron 4inkjets 3 times now I think, and will continue to do so!:)

Cheap price, cheap quality. As soon as I put it in the printer, I started getting unreadable printouts. It needs frequent, repeated cleanings of the nozzle in order to work. I definitely would never order this again.

Hi there Matt! Thank you for your review. I am so sorry to hear that you experienced trouble with our compatible PGI5Bk cartridges and I am so sorry for any frustration this has caused you!
If the printouts were light, it sounds like the ink was not flowing correctly. To boost ink flow you can simply remove the cartridge and tap it on a piece of scrap paper placed on a hard surface 5-6 times. This will use gravity to draw the ink into the sponge that is inside of the cartridge. Then install and run a printhead cleaning.
This should do the trick and you should not have to continue to printhead cleanings. If this does not work for you, we would more than happy to offer a replacement or a return for a refund for any items that have been purchsaed within one year.
